  • Please arrive early to allow time for parking and race preparation.
  • Final race logistics will be confirmed in the competitor information guide sent before the event.

Race Packs

  • Race packs are sent by post in advance and include your race number with timing chip.
  • If your race pack has not arrived before the event, it can be collected from the information desk on race morning.
     

Information Desk

  • An information desk will be available on race morning for any event queries or race pack issues.

Bike drop & transition

  • Both races have secure bike drop and transition areas, with event staff overseeing the zones during official drop times and with overnight security.
    - GAELFORCE WESTPORT 34KM: bike drop is at Westport Skate Park, available Friday evening and on race morning.
    - GAELFORCE WEST 68KM: bike drop options are available in Westport and at Killary Adventure Centre on Friday evening.
  • Please ensure your bike is in good working order, clearly labelled, and ready to race.

Spectators

  • Spectators are welcome at the finish area.
  • Please park where directed by event marshals and walk to the event area.

Start & finish line

For Gaelforce West and Gaelforce Westport the finish line is at Westport Skate Park just outside Westport, Mayo.

Getting here from Dublin:

By car: Westport is approx. 255km from Dublin City Centre. Allow around 3 hours 15 minutes depending on traffic.

By public transport: Did you know you can travel by train from Dublin Heuston to Westport with your bike? From Westport Station, Westport Skate Park is approx. 5 minutes by bike.

  • There is event parking available in public car parks throughout Westport town.
  • Please carpool where possible.
