To win an overall or category prize, you must sign up for and compete in Wave 1. Or be in the first start with Wave 1 on the day of the event.
Overall Distance Winners
Winners of the Gaelforce West are determined by the first, second or third over the finish line regardless of their age category and will not qualify for any additional placement prizes:
- 1st male and female will receive a prize & free entry into next year's event.
- 2nd & 3rd overall male and female
Category Winners
If the category winner is placed in the overall race they are no longer eligible to win a category prize.
Winners of the following categories will receive a prize based on their age on the day of the event:
- Male and female Vets (over 40)
- Male and female Super Vets (over 50)
- Male and female Senior Vets (over 60)
