Please arrive early to allow time for parking and race preparation.

Water temperature in Killary Fjord is typically 12–13°C at this time of year.

Race Packs

Race packs are sent by post in advance and include your swim hat with timing chip and race number.
If your race pack has not arrived before the event, it can be collected from the information desk on race morning.

Finish Line

Killary Adventure Company is located in Leenane, County Galway, on the edge of Killary Fjord. It sits between Connemara and Mayo, with access from Galway, Dublin, Limerick and Athlone.

Approximate driving distances and times to Killary Adventure Company:

Galway City: 75km | approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Dublin: 285km | approx. 3 hours 30 minutes
Limerick: 180km | approx. 2 hours 45 minutes
Athlone: 170km | approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Spectators

Spectators are welcome at the finish area.
Parking near the finish is limited, so spectators will need to park where directed by event marshals and walk to the event area.
