Will there be water stops on the course?

There will be a water stop halfway through the course and as with all Killary Gaelforce events you will need to bring your own water container as this is a water refill stop only.

Will there be a facility to leave bags at registration?

Yes, there will be a bag drop in operation at Deerpark Golf Club. Please do not leave valuables in your bag as we will not be responsible for lost items.

What are the locations of registration, the start line and finish line?

Registration takes place at Deerpark Golf Club. The start line is located at Howth Castle (5 mins walk from registration). The finish line is at Deerpark Golf Club.

Where are the best spectator points for GAELFORCE 10K HOWTH SUMMIT?

Spectators are more than welcome to support friends and family along the route. The main areas for spectating are:

  • Start line at Howth Castle
  • Deerpark Golf Club
  • Howth Hill Summit
  • Finish line at Deerpark Golf Club

What facilities are at the finish line?

We will be providing the following at the finish line: homemade cake, water, fruit, tea & coffee. John West will be giving out complementary Natural Protein products to refuel after the race. Alongside this they will be offering competitor rub downs/massages to freshen up those legs!
