Gaelforce Events explained
Welcome to Gaelforce Events. Below you will find some brief information on each of our events which will help you to understand what each event entails and which one if not all are best for you!
For more information on an individual event please visit the event homepage where further details on the event course, distance and discipline breakdowns, schedule, etc can be found.

Distance: 10km
Location: Bray, Wicklow/Dublin
Who should do this event: Everyone! It is a short distance along a stunning cliff top path. You can sprint it, run, jog or even walk it! For more information on the event click through to the event pages here |

| Connemara Adventure Challenge | 11th May 2013 |
Event Type: Multi Discipline - Run, Kayak, Cycle, Hill Climb |

Distance: 32km
Location: Leenane, Co. Galway
Who should do this event: This event is an adventure challenge and is suitable as a challenging event in itself to those just starting adventure racing or as a great training event for those taking on the full Gaelforce North or Gaelforce West. It will allow you to gauge where you are in your training.

Event Type: Obstacle infused, teeth chattering, energy sapping fun run!
Distance: Approx 12km
Location: Killary Adventure Co, Leenane, Co. Galway
Who should do this event: Everyone! Get a group of friends, work mates, college friends, club members together and take on the toughest course Ireland has to offer.

| Gaelforce North |

Event Type: Multi Discipline - Run, Kayak, Cycle, Hill Climb |

Distance: Sprint 42km, Full 64km
Location: Gweedore, Co. Donegal
Who should do this event: This event has two distances. The shorter distance is for those who are starting out into adventure racing or are up for a personal challenge. The longer distance is more challenging and requires more training and preparation.

Event Type: Womens only - Multi Discipline - Run, Kayak, Cycle
Distance: 23.5km
Location: Killary Adventure Centre, Leenane, Co. Galway
Who should do this event: This event is for women who may normally be worried about lining up for an adventure race. The course length is very achieveable for all levels of fitness.

Location: Galway/Mayo - finishes in Westport
Who should do this event: This event is achievable by everyone all it takes is preparation and training. Check out our training section of the site for info on training days available and plans etc to help you prepare.
